About the Roadhouse

The Kantishna Roadhouse main building serves as the central social and meeting area for our guests. The Roadhouse building is the hub of activities, meals, and general relaxation. Here is what you will find inside:

Front Desk Our front desk serves multiple purposes for our guests. The front desk will serve as your check-in and check-out area for your trip. The desk also sells a variety of sundries including candy and snacks, soda and bottled water, mosquito repellent, film and other fun and useful things.

		Activities Desk The Roadhouse activities desk contains maps, schedules and descriptions of the guided hikes and activities available daily. This is also the area to visit if you are interested in booking Mt McKinley flightseeing. The desk is staffed so any and all questions can be addressed by one of our staffers.

Alaskan Library The Roadhouse library contains a huge collection of Alaskan books, videos, puzzles and games. The library boasts large comfortable chairs and seating - perfect for a little relaxation. This area also hosts the evening naturalist activities when held indoors.

Dining Areas The main Roadhouse contains two dining rooms, hot beverage station and ample seating and social areas. Gift Shop Great Alaskan gifts, trinkets and souvenirs are all available. The gift shop areas of the lodge have a wide selection of clothing, art, postcards, jewelry, books, maps and more.

		Saloon Perhaps one of the most popular meeting areas is our Saloon, the only full-service saloon in the Denali Park backcountry. Here you can enjoy a great selection of fine wines, Alaskan beers, as well as all traditional spirits and libations.

The Kantishna Roadhouse features deluxe cabin accommodations that offer all of our guests a comfortable and authentic place to stay in Denali Park. After a day of exploration and adventure or just relaxing around the Roadhouse, our guests enjoy a good night's sleep in a cozy cabin with all the amenities you'll need on your Denali Park vacation.
