Premier Alaskan Wilderness Experience

For over three decades, the Kantishna Roadhouse has offered our guests a unique opportunity to experience the backcountry of Denali National Park in a comfortable and intimate setting. In 2022, a closure of the Denali Park Road at Mile 42 profoundly affected our ability to access our lodge and we found ourselves pivoting quickly to a fly-in only operation. This change meant that we became an even smaller and more exclusive destination, and that’s how it will continue to be until the Denali Park Road reopens.

Kantishna Roadhouse offers 3-Night, 4-Night, and 7-Night stays with arrivals and departures every Tuesday and Saturday throughout our season.

2024 season dates: June 4 – September 14, 2024

$1,450/per person/night + tax.

*The Denali Borough bed tax is $15/per person/night. Rates are all inclusive and include the flights between Denali Air and Kantishna Roadhouse.

We have partnered with Denali Air to provide flight services to Kantishna. Denali Air is a locally owned air taxi company that has been in operation since 1970 and holds the distinction of being the original flight-seeing company in Denali National Park. Denali Air operates from their own private airstrip located at Mile 229.5 of the Parks Highway known as “Denali Private.”
