Plan Your Trip Denali

Premier Alaskan Wilderness Experience

For over three decades, Kantishna Roadhouse has offered guests a unique opportunity to experience the heart of Denali National Park in a comfortable and intimate setting. After the Denali Park Road closure at Mile 43 in 2021, we adapted to a fly-in-only operation, creating an exceptionally remote and exclusive way to experience Kantishna.

In 2027, a new chapter begins. With the reopening of the Denali Park Road, guests will once again be able to journey deep into Denali by road and experience the remarkable landscapes, wildlife, and history along the way. While access is returning, the intimate character of Kantishna Roadhouse remains the same, offering a peaceful retreat far from the crowds and an unforgettable opportunity to experience Denali’s backcountry.

We look forward to welcoming guests back down the Denali Park Road and into the heart of Kantishna for our 2027 season.
