Fly into Fairbanks International Airport

Overnight for one or more nights at a local Fairbanks hotel – If time allows, we recommend a tour on the Riverboat Discovery, the Morris Thompson Visitor’s Center, and a visit to the UAF Museum.

Travel to Denali by one of the following:

  • Rental Car – It’s an easy and scenic 125 mile drive (2.5 hours) from Fairbanks to Denali along the Parks Highway.

Fly from Kantishna to the Park Entrance on your departure day and do one of the following:

  • Overnight at a Denali hotel.
  • Drive your rental car back to Fairbanks.
